Who can take the Beauty Therapist course? The course is from UK Open Learning, one of the UK’s leading distance learning providers. You don’t need any special qualifications to sign up for the course; it is open to anyone.

What qualification will I receive? On successful completion of all of the assignments, students will receive a Beauty Therapy NCFE Level 2 qualification with 9 Learning Credits plus a UK Open Learning Beauty Therapist Diploma.
Will I be able to become a Beauty Therapist after taking the course? As this is a theoretical course, you should gain some hands on training in a salon or practise on friends and family, and then with this qualification you will be fully accredited.

How long do I have to complete the course? You have a full 12 months’ tutor support by a professional tutor from the day you receive the course. If we update the course, the information will either be posted on our supporting website or sent to you free of charge. To complete this course will take in the region of 100 study hours which can be spread over the 12 month period to suit you, the student.
What happens if I’ve paid for the course but find it unsuitable? Not a problem as you can return the course to us and we can give you a full refund. However, the course must be back within 7 days and in resaleable condition with the security seals intact.
How do I complete the course? We send the full course out with the units listed above, you then read through the course in your own time and complete the assignments which you send to your tutor for marking. There is no word count for these assignments. However, one sentence answers will be rejected and you will have to re-submit it for marking.
